THE HEART OF YOUR WASH BAY

THE PUMPS!

We visit quite a few car washes, speak on the phone to many more, and receive emails from others. One theme I hear over and over “Is my high-pressure pump worth rebuilding?” The answer is; maybe. A typical scenario is, the pump starts to pulse or lose pressure, or leak water or oil, or simply ceases to pump. Some operators have the know-how, tools, and parts to dive right in and tear the pump down. Often though, we see a shelf with some used and discarded pumps sitting on it.

There is another solution. Send your pump or pumps to Pelco. We will tear down each one and inspect every surface and component. After that, we will send you our evaluation complete with the cost to repair your pump to front line condition. If you agree to this, your pump will be refurbished and returned to you, ready to wash more cars. If you decide the cost is not worth it, we will return the pump to you as is for a small inspection fee of no more than one hour. By getting your pumps rebuilt you can save money because you are not simply buying new pumps when your existing ones are exhausted. This will also allow you to have a fresh pump, ready to go when one of the other pumps goes down.

Contact Pelco today and let us help by getting those cast aside pumps off your junk shelf and back into action. You’ll be glad you did.
