The situation in most of Canada now is such that traffic is returning to normal levels. In fact, people are telling us
they believe the number of vehicles on the road is even more than before
the shut-down.
Quite a few car wash owners have used the time when it was slower to do
needed repairs and upgrades for their businesses. It was a very good opportunity to handle those things you’ve been meaning to do and never had the time.
So now, tell your customers about it. If you have a website, post your new features, talk about how your bays are brighter now, if you installed new LED lighting. Tell them you now accept credit and debit cards, or whatever it is you’ve done to improve their experience at
your car wash.
Claim your business on Google, if you haven’t already and let people know you’re open for business and better than ever. You can have some inexpensive signs made up for your bays or
common area announcing whatever improvements you’ve made. I’ve heard radio ads for car washes on my local station letting customers know you want them to come to your car wash.
Even if you haven’t added anything new to your wash, making sure it is as clean and tidy as it can be and everything you offer is working properly can do a lot to make your customers feel you care and are making sure you are trying your best to keep everyone safe. We all know bays get trashed from time to time, but if a customer sees the same mess in a bay or at a vacuum days later, they are not going to keep coming back.
In short. If you’ve done something different, or make some improvements they can see or experience, let them know by whatever method or methods works best for you.
